During the press conference held at city administration on Wednesday, February 18, one of the journalists asked whether he would participate in the 2015 election.
“Negative,” Yuri Krivov said noting that “we have enough people to fight for the office.”
“As a voter, some people ask? Yes, yes, indeed,” the mayor said.
As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, Yuri Krivov was appointed head of the Penza administration on July 22, 2014, and signed a two-year contract following the decision of the City Duma of July 18, 2014.
Yuri Krivov’s candidacy was nominated by governor Vasily Bochkarev after Roman Chernov had left the office.
Prior to that, Yuri Krivov had headed the Penza region government.
