On his birthday, he plans to take part in the session of the Volga Federal District Civil Council led by the presidential envoy in VFD Mikhail Babich on developing civil society institutions.
Apart from Mikhail Babich’s visit, April 29 has been marked by several more visits of high-ranking state officials throughout the years.
On April 29, 2010, when the then President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev approved Vasily Bochkarev’s candidacy for the new gubernatorial term, the region was receiving the then presidential envoy in the Volga Federal District Grigory Rapota.
On April 29, 2011, the region received the then Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin, who held a meeting on construction and reconstruction of regional cultural objects and met the people of culture at the regional Lunacharsky Drama Theater.
In 2013, the day was marked by an early morning official visit of the Minister of Agriculture Nikolay Fedotov.
The year of 2015 one way or another will be incredibly important for the Penza governor’s career. His term runs out on May 26, exactly five years after taking the oath of office at the extraordinary 28th session of the Legislative Assembly of the region of the fourth convocation.
The upcoming gubernatorial election in the Penza region is scheduled for September 13, 2015.
