Liberal Democratic Party decides on candidate for Penza gubernatorial election

Penza, 19 May 2015. PenzaNews. The High Council of the Liberal Democratic Party unanimously approved Anton Ishchenko, deputy of the State Duma from the Saratov region, as a candidate for the governor of the Penza region, informs the press service of the Saratov regional party branch.

In March 2015, Anton Ishchenko was added to the Liberal Democratic Party preliminary list of candidates in the upcoming autumn election, which consisted of four people.
In addition to the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the list names the coordinator of the Penza regional branch of the Liberal Democratic Party included Mikhail Usov, the deputy of Penza City Duma Zhigansha Tuktarov, and the coordinator of the Kamenka branch of the party Igor Sarantsev.
The office term of Vasily Bochkarev, governor of the Penza region, expires on May 26, exactly five years from the moment of taking oath at the extraordinary 28th session of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region of the fourth convocation, which took place on May 26, 2010.
The elections of the governor of the Penza region and by-elections of deputies to the representative bodies of local governments in a number of municipalities is scheduled for September 13.
Earlier, the electoral committee of the Penza region informed PenzaNews agency on the governor election, and explained the procedure of collecting signatures for the nomination of candidates for the post of the regional head.
