In particular, Larisa Ryabikhina, deputy head of Penza administration, was assigned a head of the staff chief of the governor and the regional government.

Victor Rubtsov, who worked as the governor’s assistant under Vasily Bochkarev, will now be working as the director of the Penza region representative office under the Russian Government.

Olesya Safonova, the regional Minister of Economy, will be leaving her office.

Evgeny Troshin, ex-Minister of Labor, Social Security and Demography of the Penza region, will be replacing Ivan Belozertsev’s son Alexander as the deputy chairman of the Penza region government. Alexander Belozertsev was fired shortly after his father became the acting governor of the region, as the law forbids blood relatives to hold top offices in the same official structure.

Ivan Belozertsev stressed that he will be aiming towards such ideals as professional skill, responsibility, honesty and accuracy during the formation of the new government.

“Each candidate must be able to work in a team,” the acting Penza region governor pointed out.

He stressed the main tasks he plans to follow in the nearest future related to the ministers: in particular, he plans to visit the areas of the region.

“I think knowing the local issues first hand, personally, is vital. To accomplish this, I will make job visits to the areas and talk to people. I often have to ask ministers and deputy gov chairmen to assist me on these trips, so I hope we will work in it together,” the press service of the regional government quotes Ivan Belozertsev.

The session was also dedicated to road repairs, construction works for culture-related institutions, profit flow of all budgets, and preparations of the Penza region schools for the new term.
