Vladimir Volkov was officially introduce as the acting head of the Penza region government during the meeting session held in the morning of Monday, June 29. The post ended up vacant after Mikhail Kosoy left it for a higher-paying job in Moscow, the acting Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev recalled.

The high-ranking official asked Vladimir Volkov to structure the government apparatus to suit the objectives of the region.

“Keep note that the May orders of the Russian President must be followed, and all the set levels in the Penza region must remain within the indicated thresholds,” Ivan Belozertsev said.

The issue of internal financial supervision in budget sphere requires a particular attention, suggested the acting governor.

“We must be able to trace every ruble, and every ruble must work effectively,” he stressed.

Another order of his was related to cooperation with the federal ministries and gov bodies.

“This is very important today. I would like to ask all the ministers and the acting government chairman to make note of that,” Ivan Belozertsev concluded.
