Penza, 30 June 2015. PenzaNews. Valery Savin, assistant to the presidential envoy in the Volga Federal District since May 2014, will be heading the Penza region government, a source in the regional government that asked to remain anonymous told PenzaNews agency on Tuesday, June 30.

Valery Savin himself refused to comment on the topic, saying he will be ready to answer any questions on Wednesday, July 1.

“Call me tomorrow, I will tell you everything,” he suggested.

However, the official website of the presidential envoy in the Volga Federal District no longer features information about Valery Savin as his assistant, as well as his bio webpage.

Currently, the office of the acting chairman of the Penza region government is held by Vladimir Volkov.
