Penza, 9 August 2015. PenzaNews. An agreement between the government of the Penza region and the Chinese province of Hubei on economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation was signed in the city of Yibin.

The Penza region was represented by Valery Savin, acting chairman of the regional government.

It is planned that mutually beneficial cooperation will contribute to the development of the Penza region and Hubei, as well as the expansion of contacts between Russia and China.

The priority areas of cooperation are the agro-industrial and construction complexes, food and light industry, mechanical engineering, tourism, science and culture.

Also in China, they signed a protocol of intent on mutual cooperation on the implementation of the investment project “Greenhouse construction in Kamenky area” with two companies — Gifore Agricultural Machinery Chain Co and Sichuan Gifore International Trading Co. The project is expected to bring up to 50 jobs.

In addition, there was a meeting with the mayor of Yibin Xu Jin with the discussion of the cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism, industry and agriculture, the press service of the government of the Penza region reports.
