Penza, 21 August 2015. PenzaNews. The meeting of the acting governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev and the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Singapore in the Russian Federation Lim Kheng Hua was held at the new agricultural facility in Pioner village, Kuznetsky area on Friday, August 21.

During the meeting the parties had a constructive exchange of views on the development of economic relations and the implementation of new investment projects in the agricultural sector in the region.

Ivan Belozertsev thanked Lim Kheng Hua for their attention to bilateral cooperation.

“Your visit is timed to the grand event — the ground for the reproduction of breeding herd, which we are opening today is another step in the development of agribusiness in the Penza region and the contribution to food security of the Russian Federation. We are grateful to the Republic of Singapore, to the investors for their cooperation and creation of new agricultural enterprises, and we appreciate your efforts to develop joint projects,” the head of the region stressed.

In turn, Lim Kheng Hua expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and active support of the regional authorities provided to the joint agricultural enterprises.

The parties agreed on further development of economic relations between Singapore and the Penza region in the agricultural sector, the press service of the regional government informs.
