“In particular, they decided on the following: found the Penza regional branch of the UCP; elect the members of the UCP regional committee at an expanded meeting; take part in the UCP branch foundation meeting; elect Pavel Arzamastsev as the plenipotentiary representative of the UCP members in the Penza region; elect the UCP delegates for the foundation meeting, and hold the meeting in 10 days,” Mikhail Yakhkind, one of the organizers of the Penza region UCP branch, told PenzaNews agency.
Originally, the foundation meeting of the UCP was held as early as on March 15, 2014, followed by the submission of required registration documents to the Russian Ministry of Justice, but the application was declined, he reminded.
“The decline was formed in away that forced us to found a new initiative group and hold a new foundation meeting. The application was sent to the Ministry of Justice on January 22, 2015. We failed to hold the Penza region in time for the March meeting last year, so we had to visit the UCP meeting as guests. Now we managed to found the Penza branch of the UCP that will start its work in the nearest future,” the speaker explained.
