The Penza region gubernatorial election campaign successfully adhered to reasonably high standards, said the head of the Liberal Democratic Party faction in the Penza city Duma Zhigansha Tuktarov, one of the election candidates, during a briefing meeting held in the regional election committee in the evening of Sunday, September 13.

“This was a fairly difficult election for me, the level was fairly high, but all teams work well. I think the result will follow our expectations, as we have the exit poll results that show we [the Liberal Democratic Party] have a good share. The rest will be clear after the ballots are counted,” he said.

Zhigansha Tuktarov also stressed that the Penza LDPR headquarters received no complaints about any serious infractions from their election supervisors.

“I would like to point out that the election campaign adhered to reasonably high standards. I would like to thank the regional election committee and all members of election committees who worked today,” he continued.
