Vasily Bochkarev appointed Federation Council Penza region member

Penza, 22 September 2015. PenzaNews. Vasily Bochkarev, former governor of the Penza region from 1998 to May 25, 2015, has been appointed the representative of the regional government in the Russian Federation Council, according to the decree of Ivan Belozertsev who officially became the new governor on Monday, September 21.

Following the text of the decree available to PenzaNews agency, Vasily Bochkarev will remain the member of the Federation Council as long as the new governor stays in the office for this term.

The document was signed on September 21, 2015, and is effective immediately.

The head of the gubernatorial and Penza region government staff department is instructed to monitor the process over the decision.
