Veniamin Afrikanov, first assistant general director of “TNS Energo Penza,” deputy of the Penza region Legislative Assembly for the United Russia party, assisted Anton Ischenko, State Duma deputy for the Liberal Democratic Party, in an earlier request from the residents of Zasurskoye village of the Lunino area to repair the building of the local village club that houses the post, the local administration and the communications node.

“The joint work of the deputies resulted in a success: the roof of the Zasurinskoye village culture center will be repaired by the end of October 2015. This task received 60,000 rubles,” says the newspiece published on the regional LDPR branch website, titled “Joint work – Positive result!”

At the same time, the situation was met with mixed reaction in the social media. In particular, the users are puzzled by the reasons why Anton Ischenko could not resolve the issue on his own and had to address his political opponent, while Veniamin Afrikanov, a representative of the ruling party in the regional parliament, had not addressed the village culture center in need of repair until the request from the State Duma deputy.
