Penza, 22 October 2015. PenzaNews. Elena Chakaeva (formerly known as Ovchinnikova) will become the press secretary of the Penza regional branch for the United Russia party.

She will be replacing Ekaterina Schneider who left her office in early October 2015 due to her move to Moscow.

According to Elena Chakaeva herself, she will start on her job as the press secretary on Friday, October 23.

Elena Chakaeva had been working as the head of the information and analysis office of the Penza city administration since November 2008.

In early 2015, the office was drawn away from the structure of the city hall, its functions delegated to the newly-created information and analysis office in “Penza city advertising service,” while Darya Samarina was appointed as the head of the new office.

From June to October 2015, Elena Chakaeva worked in the Penza region Education Ministry.
