Penza, 10 November 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev was placed 46th in the September-October 2015 Russian regional heads rating compiled by the information communications center “Rating.”

The current result is a one-point improvement over the previous one.

At the moment, Ivan Belozertsev continues to hold a place in the second gubernatorial tier (places 26th to 60th) out of three total.

The rating notes place emphasis on the fact that Ivan Belozertsev has achieved an unrivaled victory during the Penza region gubernatorial election, where he received support of some 600,000 voters, or over 86%.

Over the past two months, the governor’s priority objectives were implementation social and economic projects and preparations for the heating season.

According to analysts, the economic situation in the Penza region remains relatively positive in spite of the countrywide crisis trend, with a record-breaking harvest, developing production enterprises, and economic growth year-to-year, as well as continued implementation of import replacement projects.

Moreover, the analysts pointed out the decision to include the Penza region in the list of federal subjects with high-quality regional finance management as another positive factor.

As for the negative factors, the analysts highlighted the issues with construction of the new 130-beds birthing center for the Burdenko clinical hospital that Ivan Belozertsev had to take under personal monitoring.
