City Duma deputies unanimously support Victor Kuvaytsev as new Penza mayor
Penza, 16 December 2015. PenzaNews. The deputies of the Penza city Duma of the sixth convocation have unanimously supported the current city head Victor Kuvaytsev as the new Penza mayor, during a vote held on the 16th extraordinary City Duma session on Wednesday, December 16.

All 30 deputies present at the session voted in his favor.
His opponents, the Leninsky city area administration head Yuri Chipchiu and the Zheleznodorozhny city area administration deputy head Oleg Denisov, received no votes.
The secret vote was governed by the committee compiled of the Duma deputy chairman Ivan Krasnov, as well as deputies Andrei Suchkov and Victor Vorobyev.
The journalists were shown the empty ballot box, which was sealed before the first vote was cast. Following the vote, the committee withdrew for the counting procedure.
The results were announced by Ivan Krasnov.
The City Duma deputy head Roman Petrukhin thanked the committee for the work, followed by a round of applause from other deputies in the session hall.
Following that, Roman Petrukhin thanked Victor Kuvaytsev for fruitful work together in the City Duma, and wished him luck in the new office.
In return, the latter expressed his gratitude to the deputies and said they will continue cooperation for the good of Penza citizens in the future.
