Penza Stalin Center to open on December 21

Penza, 16 December 2015. PenzaNews. The Stalin Center based in the CPRF Penza regional committee on Kirova street, 24B, will open doors on Monday, December 21.

“At 11.00, we will hold a flower-laying ceremony to the Stalin monument. Between 11.30 and 12.00, Georgy Kamnev, leader of Penza Communists, deputy of the regional Legislative Assembly, show the guests the photo exhibition dedicated to the rule of Stalin. The Stalin Center project will be presented in the conference hall at 12.00,” the press service of the CPRF Penza regional committee told PenzaNews agency.
The opening of the Penza Stalin Center was announced during the event dedicated to the anniversary of the 1936 Constitution of the Soviet Union, held on 5 December 2015.
According to Georgy Kamnev, first secretary of the CPRF regional branch, deputy of the Penza region Legislative Assembly, the Communist Party supporters will be actively promoting “the historical truths, the truth about those years and about Joseph Vissarionovich’s personality.”
The Stalin Center in Penza will be organizing a number of events, such as scientific conferences, public debates, open-doors cinema showings, and a Stalin stipend for History majors.
On 5 March 2016, the center will hold the Stalin readings in Penza – a big research and practice conference with guests such as well-renowned scientists and writers.
