Penza region deputies extend 10% governor’s pay cut by another year

Penza, 18 December 2015. PenzaNews. The deputies of the Penza region Legislative Assembly has extended the 10% pay cut for the governor Ivan Belozertsev for the entirety of 2016.

The law draft was submitted for review by the head of the region himself.

According to this decision, which was adopted during the 32nd regular Legislative Assembly session held on Friday, December 18, the chairman of the regional Parliament Valery Lidin will also work with a 10% pay cut in the upcoming year.

As a result, the officials extended the pay cut for the head of the region and the regional Parliament chairman introduced as of 1 April 2015.
