Penza area administration head Nikolai Pashkov placed under house arrest

Penza, 21 December 2015. PenzaNews. The head of Penza area administration Nikolai Pashkov has been placed under house arrest for 2 months, Sergei Maslov, press secretary of the Pervomaisky area court, told PenzaNews agency.
According to him, the request for this decision came from an officer of the Penza region Investigative Committee on Saturday, December 19.
Nikolai Pashkov is accused of a crime under Part 4, Art. 159 of the Criminal Code, “Fraud,” Sergei Maslov explained.
Answering the question of a PenzaNews reporter, he explained that the detention of Nikolai Pashkov is not related to the recent arrest of Alexander Pashkov, Penza ex-mayor, former deputy chairman of the regional government.
Nikolai Nikolaevich Pashkov was born in the Kursk region on 13 December 1966.
He graduated the Kursk State Pedagogical University in 1997, and the Penza State University of Architecture and Construction in 2006.
Nikolai Pashkov began his job record as an employee of “Avtospetsoborudovaniye” factory in the Lgov area of the Kursk region, followed by “Mayak” in the Kursk area, and the Lgov branch of “Kurskgaz.”
In early 2000s, he was the deputy board chairman of the Penza region consumer union, leading the marketing service.
He also performed the duties of the director for “Penza City Advertising Service.”
Nikolai Pashkov headed “Penzalift” from October 2005 to December 2014.
He was appointed the head of Penza area administration on 14 December 2015.
