Penza, 24 December 2015. PenzaNews. Some ministries and departments of the Penza region will be renamed in a batch of changes to the regional executive power structure.

In particular, the Penza region Department of internal Policy and Mass Communications will be renamed to the Department of Information Policy and Media, says the regional government decree No. 723-pP signed by the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

According to the document obtained by PenzaNews agency, the Penza region government will be receiving the formerly department-executed powers to coordinate cooperation of the governor and the regional government with municipal self-government bodies, regional political party branches, civil, national and religious unions, professional unions, and other civil structures registered and working in the region.

Moreover, following the decree, the Penza region physical education and sports committee will change into the Ministry of Physical Education and Sports, which confirms the previous data.

In addition, the Penza region governor signed the regional government decree No. 720-pP that creates the Penza region Department of Communal Affairs and Civil Protection.

The new department will receive the powers from the Ministry of Construction and Communal Affairs to manage development and implementation of main civil policies in communal affairs and civil protection, as well as management and execution of regional state surveillance in civil and territorial protection from regional, intermunicipal and municipal emergency situations.

Also, the Penza region Ministry of Construction and Communal Affairs will be renamed into the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Road System.
