The Penza region governor intends to hold direct Q&A sessions after the example of the program with the Russian President Vladimir Putin that was held for the 18th time by the First Channel, Russia 1 and Russia 24 TV channels and Mayak, Vesti FM and Radio of Russia radio stations on Thursday, April 14.

“I believe this practice will push the Penza region executive bodies to work more actively for the good of the people,” said the head of the region.

He also stressed that other means of communication used to address the governor directly will keep working as usual.

Moreover, Ivan Belozertsev stressed that many of the issues mentioned during Vladimir Putin’s Q&A session concern the Penza region as well.

“All issues discussed by the head of state during the Q&A will be analyzed thoroughly. We must realize where we are doing insufficient job, get into the gist of the things and solve them – quickly and in a professional fashion,” the press service of the regional government quotes the head of the region.
