Medialogia, a Russian research company, compiles ratings based on media index, a qualitative indicator of information field attitude towards a company, brand or person.

Unlike other indexes that stop at calculating the number of mentions, the Medialogia rating evaluates the media reputation of a subject based on such quantitative factors as news source influence, positive or negative type of reference, its importance in the context, as well as composure of text, including direct and indirect speech content.

The system evaluates the overall friendliness level of media towards the object over a certain period of time via combining indexes of all references.

The rating uses a media database of over 31,000 influential sources, such as TV and radio stations, newspapers, magazines, news agencies and websites.

The current rating has been calculated on 21 April 2016.
