Penza, 8 June 2016. PenzaNews. Participation in the United Russia party primaries with high results for the All-Russian People’s Front activists allowed APF representatives to make speeches to their voters, suggested Anna Kuznetsova, president of the charity foundation in support of family, motherhood and childhood “Pokrov,” head of the regional APF executive committee, who participated in the primaries.

“The fact that the primaries were held shows that there is the will to solve the issues, and we must solve them together. Those who remained skeptical before the primaries and did not trust them to be honest now say they were proved wrong,” Anna Kuznetsova said during the APF headquarters session on Tuesday, June 7.

According to Alexander Brechalov, co-founder of the APF headquarters, the primaries involved around 200 APF representatives.

“We can already state that about 100 members achieved very good results,” he pointed out.

As Alexander Brechalov stressed, APF experts contributed to competitive primaries process.

“This was the will of the All-Russian People’s Front activists, which stemmed from their wish to not just test themselves in public political struggle, but also represent the movement and its program at the United Russia discussion platforms during debates and public meetings. The main topic of the APF in the primaries was the public monitoring of Vladimir Putin’s May decrees on regional and municipal levels, as well as measures against corruption, overt spending, ineffective state expenditures, and the most urgent public issues,” he explained.

The co-founder of the APF headquarters pointed out that the All-Russian People’s Front itself was not involved in the primaries as a civil organization.

“We did not create the primaries committee and provided no financial or administrative aid to primaries candidates,” the APF press service quotes Alexander Brechalov.
