Valery Lidin shares impressions on “United Russia” meeting in Moscow

Penza, 26 September 2016. PenzaNews. Representatives of the Supreme and the General Council of “United Russia” praised the work of the Penza regional branch of the party under the 2016 election campaign. This was announced by the leader of “United Russia” Penza, chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the region Valery Lidin after a meeting of the regional parliament committee on economic policy on Monday, September 26.

“I brought the best word from the leadership — both the Supreme and the General Council of the party — for the well-coordinated work, which was held in the Penza region. Honestly, Penza sounded proud,” he said, sharing his impressions of the joint meeting of the Supreme and the General Council of “United Russia,” held in Moscow on Saturday, September 24.
Valery Lidin thanked party members for their contribution to the victory in the elections to the State Duma of the seventh convocation.
“Today there is a good foundation for cooperation with the leadership of the Russian State Duma and the government,” the speaker of the regional parliament noted.
He expressed hope that Sergey Esyakov elected deputy of the Penza single-mandate district No. 146, will retain the post of the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on energy sector.
“Ivan I. Firyulin, [...] of course, [is] in the agricultural committee. I do not rule out that he will be offered the post of the deputy chairman of the committee,” Valery Lidin said.
At the joint meeting of the Supreme and the General Council of “United Russia” they approved the composition of the party faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. It is headed now by Vladimir Vasiliev.
Also the fraction was encouraged to submit the candidacy of Vyacheslav Volodin to the post of the Chairman of the Russian State Duma of the seventh convocation.
In addition, they approved the candidates for the post of vice-speaker of the Duma. They are Sergei Neverov, Alexander Zhukov, Vladimir Vasilyev, Irina Yarovaya and Pyotr Tolstoy.
