Penza, 27 September 2016. PenzaNews. First Secretary of the Communist Party Regional Committee, member of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region Georgy Kamnev said that all the requests from voters received during the meetings of the election campaign to the State Duma, will be fulfilled.

“We had exactly 170 meetings with the residents, beginning from June. They were held in different parts of the region, both in the countryside and in the cities. [...] The voters made requests, which as a deputy of the Legislative Assembly I will fulfill. Of course, I will try to execute all of them,” the leader of the Penza communists told PenzaNews.

He noted that such a large number of meetings with the residents of the Penza region required considerable effort.

“I held from two to four meetings a day. [...] To be honest, I do not know who of the candidates managed to do this much. I can only say that a lot of meetings were conducted by candidates in various other campaigns — dozens of meetings, maybe a hundred, a hundred and something, but 170 and more — I have not heard of that,” Georgy Kamnev said.

However, he stressed that it is about quality, not quantity. It is about confidential atmosphere during communication which allows engaging in direct dialogue with the public on a range of topical issues.

“Each meeting was organized at a very decent level. People came with their immediate problems, some with proposals. Usually, up to 20 to 30 people. Of course, there happened to come even more — over 50. It goes without saying, that each of them needs to be listened to; I had to understand the situation, give advice, and take it under control. In fact, thanks to these meetings I gained great experience, which I hope to successfully apply in the future,” the agency interlocutor concluded.
