As it was said in the office of the Penza “United Russia” department, the secret voting took place during the 22nd conference of the regional department, which was held in the regional Lermontov library.

The Valery Lidin’s candidacy was supported by the majority.

The conference also determined the members of the regional political council, which consists of 100 people. The council was renewed by one third.

In addition, participants of the conference elected six delegates for the 16th gathering of the “United Russia” party, which will be held in Moscow on January 21-22.
