Leader of world proletariat commemorated in Penza

Penza, 21 January 2017. PenzaNews. Several dozens of people took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at Penza monument to Vladimir Lenin in Lenina square on the 93rd anniversary of the death of the world proletariat leader.

Before the ceremony, a traditional rally was held. It was opened by the first secretary of the city committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the teacher of history in school No. 58 Dmitry Filyaev.

"We owe to Lenin our present life, the things that let us and our country exist. He was not just a titan of thought. He was a man who devoted his whole life to the liberation of an ordinary worker and peasant, who led wretched existence before the revolution. First of all, thinking about Lenin we say that we are the bearers of the Lenin's cause. We know for sure that the Lenin's cause lives on and that it will triumph," he said.

Dmitry Filyaev's idea was continued by the secretary of the CPRF committee of the Crimean RepublicValery Lavrov, who is staying in Penza these days.

He noted that nowadays the Communist Party of Russia stands on the protection of the ideas of the world proletariat leader.

"Let Lenin's ideal be our guiding light," he said during his speech.

The ex-deputy of the State Duma of Russia Vladimir Samagin, who emphasized the fact that the lower house of parliament rejected the bill "On children of war", and the leader of the Penza communists, and the Communist Party of Russia in the regional Legislative Assembly Georgy Kamnev also turned to the people gathered in the square.

As reported by the press service of the regional committee of the Communist Party of Russia, the actions of commemoration and laying flowers took place in many areas of the Penza region on January 21.

He was one of the organizers and leaders of the October Revolution of 1917 in Russia, Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars (government) of the RSFSR, creator of the world’s first socialist state, the co-founder of Marxism-Leninism, the ideologist of the Third (Communist) International.
