Five people fined 75,000 rubles in Penza for falsification during State Duma elections

Penza, 24 January 2017. PenzaNews. The Bekovsky court of the Penza region decided to discontinue the criminal case and the criminal proceedings against five women accused of rigging the voting results at the elections to the State Duma of the 7th convocation, and appointed each of them a penalty equal to 15,000 rubles.

As it was announced on the court website, the corresponding application was submitted by the deputy head of the first division for the investigation of high-level cases of the Office of Investigations in the Penza region.

He referred to the fact that all the five women are accused of committing crimes of average gravity, they have no previous convictions, they fully admitted their guilt, repented and brought public apologies making up for the inflicted harm.

The prosecutor also asked to grant the submitted application and the court did so on January 19.

The court decisions can be appealed within 10 days.

The card file of the court website contains only surnames and initials of the accused, the criminal cases in relation to whom were terminated. These are Kireeva G.N., Koroleva N.V., Merkulova L.V., Nalobnova O.V., and Schepetkova N.V.

In accordance with the information available on the website of the regional election committee, women with such data are members of three precinct election commissions formed in the territory of the Bekovsky area.

Thus, Galina Kireeva and Natalya Schepetkova, who were recommended to the commission at the job address, are registered as members of precinct election commission No. 301 located in the village Bekovo, 2B Podbekovo street. The same commission includes Nadezhda Koroleva, who represents All-Russian political party Party of Pensioners' of Russia.

Larisa Merkulova, who was recommended to the commission at the job address, is a member of precinct election commission No. 303 located in Bekovo in 1A Bazarnaya street.

Oksana Nalobnova was also nominated to a precinct election commission at the job address. She is a member of precinct election commission No. 304 located in Bekovo, 56 Pervomayskaya street.
