Penza, 8 February 2017. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region dropped from the 43rd to the 50th position in the governors influence rating complied by the Agency of Political and Economic Communications according to the results of January, 2017.

Ivan Belozertsev occupies the last position in the second group out of three possible ones: "very strong influence", "strong influence", and "average influence".

The average number of points of the Penza region governor amounted to 4.55.

The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, who is the leader of the rating, has 7.86 points, and the outsider, the head of Kalmykia, has 2.67 points.

The governors influence rating is based on the results of the expert survey, which was conducted by means of closed poll. 25 political scientists, political strategists, media experts and journalists took part in the poll in January, 2017.

They were asked the question: "How would you assess the influence of the following governors at the federal level on the scale from 1 to 10 (in the presidential administration, the government of Russia, in party and business elite)?"

Firstly, each expert assessed the influence of each of the candidates listed in the questionnaire. Then, the averages of the experts’ evaluations were calculated.

The final rating is a consolidated assessment of the influence of all governors of the Russian Federation. The persons who entered the rating according to the results of the poll were divided into the categories "very strong influence", "strong influence", and "average influence".
