Penza, 19 March 2017. PenzaNews. It was suggested that gubernatorial and regional government staff chief is conferred powers of first deputy head of the regional government.

The bill according to which relevant changes should be made to certain laws of the Penza region was introduced to the Legislative Assembly by the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

As it was stated in an explanatory note signed by the deputy head of the apparatus – the head of the department of civil service and state service personnel of the Penza region Igor Balashov, if the bill passes, no additional budget costs will be required.
According to information posted on a website of the regional parliament, the draft law already received an endorsement.

The law will come into effect after 10 days starting the date of its official publication.

At present, the post of gubernatorial and regional government staff chief is occupied by Larisa Ryabikhina.

In May 2015, she was temporarily in charge, and since December 2015 she has occupied the post on a permanent basis.
