Belozertsev takes part in meeting headed by Putin

The governor of the Pena region Ivan Belozertsev took part in the joint meeting of the State Council and Presidential Commission on monitoring of the achievements of targets of socio-economic development of Russia, which the head of the state Vladimir Putin held in the Kremlin on Thursday, May 4.
Commenting on the results of the discussion of the issues listed in the agenda, Ivan Belozertsev drew attention to the necessity to improve activity of social organizations and to work through the mechanism of feedback from the population.
"Opinion of citizens about the quality of work of socially significant institution should be determinative. This relates to the provision of public and municipal services through multifunctional centers, work of medical and educational institutions, sports and cultural facilities," the head of the region explained.
He added that the President of the Russian Federation set the target to ensure independence of the assessment of the quality of social organizationswork.
"Within the framework of orders given in May, the work already started. Fulfillment of the specified task will allow residents to have a real impact on changes in the work of socially significant establishments," Ivan Belozertsev said.
The governor also mentioned realization of the programme of old and dilapidated housing resettlement.
"According to regional targeted programmes, it is planned to resettle almost 9,000 people from 4,000 flats in the Penza region. At the beginning of May, 2017, new housing was received by 6,500 citizens of the region," the press service of the regional government quotes Ivan Belozertsev.
