Penza, 12 May 2017. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev ordered to dismiss the head of the Issinsky area administration Alexander Kuligin.

"By next week, the head of the Issinsky area must be discharged. [...]. An area head must develop an area, take care of the development of agriculture, small and medium business, create jobs, repair roads, solve citizens’ issues," he said at the meeting that was held via video conference on Friday, May 12.

The head of the region explained that shortly before the start of the meeting, Alexander Kuligin called him and asked for permission to leave because he had to be present at a friend's birthday.

"Last year I already expressed displeasure with the head of the Issinsky area administration. [...] There is no place for such leaders in our region," Ivan Belozertsev added.

He ordered the deputy chairman of the Penza region government Vasily Trokhin to go to the Issinsky area on Saturday, May 13, in order to solve this issue.
