Penza, 19 June 2017. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev said that he had fired several officials who spent time on the Internet instead of solving work issues.

"I have already fired several officials. [...] We do not need people who surf the Internet instead of carrying out their direct responsibilities," he said at the operational meeting that was held in the regional government on Monday, June 19.

According to Ivan Belozertsev, such employers occupy the place of those who do want to work.

"Our employers are captured by the Internet. They visit doubtful websites, on which women post their indecent photos or something else. It is a shame," Ivan Belozertsev added.

He ordered heads of ministries as well as their departments to tighten control over employers when it comes to the use of the Internet.
