Penza, 28 July 2017. PenzaNews. The prime minister of the Russian Federation, the head of the “United Russia” faction Dmitry Medvedev will visit the Penza region within a framework of a mobile election campaign. This was reported by “Izvestia” with a reference to its sources.

Altogether, it is planned to make up to seven visits to regions.

It is supposed that the trips will be organized in order to provide assistance to faction’s candidates for deputy as well as to support acting heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The information that Dmitry Medvedev will come to Penza, where on a single voting day people will choose representatives of the regional Legislative Assembly of the sixth convocation, was confirmed by the Russian prime minister’s press secretary Natalia Timakova.

It is expected that during the mobile election campaign the head of “United Russia” will be accompanied by representatives of the faction’s general council including his secretary Sergei Neverov, who also plans to come to Penza.

According to him, Dmitry Medvedev will visit several regions already in August – the itinerary was discussed during the forum “Urban environment” in Krasnodar on July 24 but some corrections can still be made.

The last time the prime minister of the Russian Federation was in Penza in 2012.Within the framework of the journey, he visited the enterprise “MedInzh”, held a meeting on the issue of medical industry development in the country and met with active members of the “United Russia” faction.

The secretary of the “United Russia’s” general council, the deputy head of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Neverov was in Penza on a business trip less than a month ago – on July 2. He held a closed meeting on the forthcoming elections in September. In particular, it touched upon such issues as strategies of election campaigns in the Penza, Saratov and Kirov regions as well as in Udmurtia.

In addition, Sergei Neverov visited a number of socially important facilities in Penza. At the same time, it was decided not to give the event a broad coverage in the local mass media. Thus, the secretary of the general council of “United Russia” was accompanied by workers of at least two TV channels – the state TV and radio company “Penza” and the company “Express” controlled by the regional government. However, Tatyana Bubnova, press secretary of the faction’s regional department, who is present at the photos made by the correspondents, told PenzaNews that no work of mass media is planned at the events that involve Sergei Neverov.
