Release of Sergey Udaltsov celebrated with fire action in Penza

Penza, 9 August 2017. PenzaNews. Penza supporters of the Russian opposition activist, coordinator of movement "Left Front" Sergey Udaltsov celebrated his release from the Tambov colony, where he had served a punishment for organizing mass disorders in Bolotnaya square in Moscow on May 6, 2012, with a bright action using flares.

On Tuesday afternoon, August 8, several people gathered in Dzerzhinskogo public garden in Penza, where they unrolled a banner with the inscription "Prisoner of conscience Sergey Udaltsov was released!"
Participants of the event also held flags of "Left Front" and the forbidden in Ukraine organization "Borotba".
At a certain point, they lighted flares drawing attention of people who were walking along the public garden.
Supporters of Sergey Udaltsov are convinced that the release of the opposition activist will help the left movement to regain a prominent place in Russian politics.
In May 2012, an agreed with the authorities procession in Yakimanka street and a rally in Bolotnaya square resulted in riots and conflicts with the police. Dozens of people were injured, over 400 demonstrators were detained.
The organizers of the turmoil – Sergey Udaltsov and Leonid Razvozhaev – were sent to a colony for 4.5 years. Ordinary participants of the riots were sentenced to lesser terms.
