Penza, 24 August 2017. PenzaNews. The correspondent of Pervy Kanal Anton Vernitsky is convinced that absence of information about activities of the famous Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny on federal television is explained primarily by reluctance to advertise his activities.

"Today someone of those present said: 'It is like two different worlds' – some things are discussed on the Internet, and absolutely different ones – on television. Navalny is an example. [...] Everyone, especially the younger generation watched the film 'He Is Not Dimon To You' but nothing was said about it on television," he noted at a creative meeting on the topic "Television and the Internet" conducted within the framework of the festival "We are from Penza", which started in the Lermontov regional library on Thursday, August 24.

The journalist added that there was no reason to "advertise the oppositionist again".

"In due time we advertised Bozhena Rynska the same way. She is an absolutely shallow person who screamed out dirty words at policemen in Triumfalnaya square and later became a media figure," Anton Vernitsky said.
