"It is our close – very close I would say – ally, because despite the criticism I expressed repeatedly against the policy CPRF leadership implemented, and which I still preserve, today there is no and cannot be a closer ally to us," he said at the press conference held in the Penza regional committee of the Communist Party of Russia on Saturday, September 2.
The opposition activist added that he considered bilateral interaction very promising.
"I think that changes and the process of staff rejuvenation will take place in CPRF. With all due respect to older comrades, whom I deeply appreciate for the deeds and achievements that have been made over the years, a natural process of replacement is indispensable. When it will happen, we will be close. We will make involved in our activity those who for some reasons are not ready to join CPRF, for example, those who have doubts but are willing to fight for left-wing ideals and principles, for justice, social equality of opportunities, mutual assistance, humanism, real democracy," Sergey Udaltsov explained.
