"Now we have a challenge – and I am telling you this today in the first city I visit – to stir "Left Front" to activity as a coalition, a union, as a meeting centre for non-parliamentary left-wing organizations and the non-systemic Left in the first instance. There are a lot of groups, movements, single activists who are scattered around different cities," he said at the press conference held in the Penza regional committee of the Communist Party of Russia on Saturday, September 2.
Sergey Udaltsov noted that all of them opposed capitalism and state policy but failed to unite and work effectively.
"I assure you that 'Left Front' will be a meeting place for such forces – a vivid, modern centre that will operate also on the Internet as well as in the streets, and interact with parliamentary structures – with Communist Party in the first place.
