Penza, 16 January 2018. PenzaNews. People's election headquarters in support of Pavel Grudinin, candidate for the presidency of Russia from the Communist Party, director of the Lenin state farm, was organized in Penza.

Sergei Nosko, coordinator of the regional Left Front department, was appointed its head.

As the press secretary of the movement's regional department Sergei Padalkin told PenzaNews, at the moment recruitment of volunteers for dissemination of campaign materials is conducted in cooperation with representatives of people's patriotic forces.

"Grudinin has been registered [as a candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation], an electoral account has been opened. I think, in the very near future – this or next week – some of the visual materials will be available. As soon as they have appeared in Penza, we will start to work," the interlocutor said.

He added that another important area of the headquarters’ activity is Internet work.

"A lot of dirt has been poured out on Grudinin lately, many rumours have spread. [...] These rumours are rapidly debunked including by Left Front representatives. It is important to bring the truth to voters," Sergei Padalkin said.

Answering the question whether the Left Front is going to coordinate its work with the Communist Party, whose representative Pavel Grudinin officially is, he explained that interaction on certain issues is necessary, for example when it comes to disseminating visual campaign materials, because they will be printed centrally and then received by the regional committee of the Communist Party of Russia.

Among other possible directions of work of the headquarters, the movement representative mentioned installation of propaganda boxes in the streets, conduct of meetings with voters and organization of a rally in support of the candidate.

Sergei Padalkin explained that the people's headquarters will not have separate premises for a while as there is no need for them.
