Penza, 22 January 2018. PenzaNews. During the elections of the President of Russia on March 2018 video surveillance will be organized at 370 polling stations of the Penza region. This was reported by the chairman of the election commission Alexander Sinyukov.

"Not only video will be used but also speech recording – the sound will be heard. Moreover, the shooting will be broadcast on the Internet online," he said at the presentation of the ballot paper processing system, which was held in the regional election commission on Monday, January 22.

Alexander Sinyukov specified that 198 out of 370 such polling stations are located in Penza.

"It is not the number of polling stations that must be covered but rather the number of voters. The video surveillance system will be used mainly in the city of Penza and in such towns as Zarechny, Kuznetsk, Kamenka, Nizhny Lomov, Serdobsk. Altogether 80% of voters will be covered with the majority of urban population," the head of the election commission explained.
