"I remember as we were growing up in our family, a big family of many children, having quite serious financial difficulties. It was a difficult time. It happened so that not all children had an opportunity to study – parents could not afford to send their children to educational institutions," he said to journalists after voting at polling station No. 109 located in school No. 77 in the neighborhood GPZ-24.

The mayor added that whether children and grandchildren will live better than their parents depends on the results of the elections.

"We have a very rich country, we have a very good human potential. Everyone would like the person who will manage this potential to be quite well-known, to serve as a role model. We would like our children, our grandchildren to live better than we did at some period," Victor Kuvaytsev noted.

Answering the question why this time he came to vote alone Penza mayor explained that he came straight from work, that is why his wife along with other family members will come to the polling station at a different time.
