Penza mayor thinks turnout to reach at least 70% in next elections

Penza, 20 March 2018. PenzaNews. Head of Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev thinks that in the next elections the turnout of voters in the city should be at least 70%.

As a result of systematic work carried out with population, the turnout of Penza voters in the elections of the President of Russia on March 18 was significantly higher than in the entire history of elections and amounted almost 65%. I thank everyone for your work and at the same time would like to draw your attention to the fact that our goal is to increase the activity of citizens and to ensure a turnout of at least 70% in the next elections," he said at the meeting in the mayor's office on Tuesday, March 20.
As it was reported by the press service of the Penza administration, Victor Kuvaytsev thanked those present at the meeting including his deputies, heads of district administrations, heads of departments and divisions responsible for preparation and conduct of the elections.
