Penza, 24 March 2018. PenzaNews. Representatives of the Communist Party and the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (Komsomol) expressed their disagreement with the results of the elections of the President of Russia at a rally, which was held near the building of the former Rodina cinema in Penza on Saturday, March 24.

They were holding banners reading "Your elections are mockery!", "Your elections are circus!" "We do not recognize such clownery!", "Penza region is a territory of total falsification", which could previously be seen at a rally in the Dzerzhinsky public garden on March 19.

Participants of the protest action also prepared new posters reading "Why does election commission fail to stop the violations?", "Pamfilova, where are the promised fair elections?", "Those who falsified the elections must be held liable!" and others.

The rally was opened by secretary of the Penza city committee of the Communist Party Yuliana Kotova, who spoke about violations revealed by party observers on the voting day, March 18.

In addition, the event featured coordinator of the Left Front in the Volga Federal District Sergei Padalkin, first secretaries of the Luninsky and Serdobsky area committees of the Communist Party Oleg Seleznev and Alexander Smirnov, first secretary of the regional committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League Alexander Rogozhkin, representative of the National-Patriotic Forces of Russia Alexander Frolenkov, regional representative of the all-Russian movement the Hope of Russia, as well as chairman of the public organization The Children of War Nina Chernikova.

At the end of the rally, protesters adopted a resolution demanding reform of political and economic systems of the country.
