Penza, 6 April 2018. PenzaNews. The first meeting of the council of youth parliament of Penza region municipalities was held on Friday, April 6.

"I remember that exactly a year ago at the 4th forum of young parliamentarians of the Penza region it was suggested to establish an institution that would unite all youth parliaments of the districts, allow to conduct common project and information work. Today is a historic day for us, one can say. The institution called the Council of Youth Parliaments of Penza Region Municipalities starts its work," chairman of the youth parliament under the Legislative Assembly of the region of the sixth convocation Anrei Sushkov noted.

He added that it was decided to invite not only young parliamentarians from all areas of the region but also their supervisors from administrations and meetings of representatives to the first meeting.

"Our goal today is to lay a general understanding of youth parliamentarism and to determine the strategy for further development," Andrei Sushkov added.

After that those present shared their opinions on the designated topic.
