Penza, 27 April 2018. PenzaNews. The head of the association The Union of Penza Region Municipalities, Vladimir Sheludko, presented Penza Mayor Victor Kuvaytsev with the badge of honour "Municipal leaders of Russia. Labour and honour" at the 44th regular session of the City Duma on Friday, April 27.

The decision about awarding was adopted by the council of the public movement Club of Municipal Sphere Heads (CMSH) on April 12.

In addition, Vladimir Sheludko presented the head of the city, Valery Savelyev, with the document confirming that according to CMSH Penza had been included in 100 best municipalities of Russia in 2017 due to an upward trend in the main factors of economic, innovative, infrastructural, social and cultural development as well as due to consolidated efforts of residents for comprehensive development of the territory.

In response Valery Savelyev noted that this was the result of well-coordinated teamwork.
