"It has been established. However, it should be developed more actively – members of the government, ministers and heads of municipalities should go to the streets without hesitation," he said in an interview to the newspaper Kommersant (Saratov), which was published in issue No. 165 as of September 12.

According to the head of the region, there are many problems in the Penza region, including those in the housing sector, and "when we fail to solve them, it is necessary to meet with people and explain what the reason is".

Answering the question about what was the last topic he discussed with the residents last time, Ivan Belozertsev spoke about his visit to Penza yards.

"People brought up the issue of landscaping. There had been a meeting with the youth at the university before. In a neighbourhood I was asked about the rumours about closing up of a hospital. Different topics were discussed," the governor noted.
