Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, first secretary of the Penza regional party committee, head of the communist faction in the regional Legislative Assembly Georgy Kamnev is one of the most capable young leaders the Communist Party of Russia. This opinion was expressed by chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov.

"I must say that Georgy Petrovich is one of the most capable young leaders. [ ... ] He headed our delegation in China, where youth leaders had been to and done an internship. I want our new leaders to know the real life, to know the history of the country, to understand what is happening in the world, to see a unique experience," Gennady Zyuganov said answering the question of PenzaNews editor-in-chief Pavel Polosin regarding the assessment of the activities of the leader of Penza communists that was asked after a business meeting of the two politicians in Moscow on Friday, December 21.

The chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party stressed that he considered training of personnel reserve as one of the key tasks.

"I think when it comes to this point, Georgy Petrovich is a very successful student, worker and leader," the head of the Communist Party noted.

Gennady Zyuganov added that Georgy Kamnev's work as the first Secretary of the Penza regional Committee was highly appreciated.

"In accordance with the statutes, there are two estimates in the party: satisfactory and unsatisfactory. However, I would give Mr. Kamnev a "good" – a firm positive assessment with good prospects for the future. So there is space for growth," the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said.
