Penza, 8 July 2020. PenzaNews. Governor of Penza region Ivan Belozertsev, whose term of office expires in September 2020, commented on his decision to apply for the post of regional leader again.

"Five years passed for me just instantly. During this time a lot of good deeds have been done in Penza region. There are projects that are underway. There are also a lot of interesting projects that I would like to implement", Ivan Belozertsev told reporters after he had submitted documents to the regional election committee related to his nomination as a candidate for the post of governor from the United Russia party.

He added that he had accumulated extensive managerial experience.

"I know the region. I know the towns, the areas and big settlements. I know people's issues and am ready to do my best to solve them. I’m ready to implement the projects that are planned today, relying on the support of industrial enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses, public organizations, and citizens, of course," said Ivan Belozertsev.
