On November 4 he posted a video on his Instagram profile accompanied by hashtags #Пенза, #стопкоронавирус, #дистанционка and #вместепобедим.

“Dear fellow citizens! Today it became known to me that I had contracted coronavirus. In this regard, I'm going for self-isolation and will work remotely,” said Ivan Belozertsev.

“I wish everyone the most important thing – health. Take care of yourself and your loved ones,” the governor added.
