“Ivan Alexandrovich Belozertsev is to be dismissed from the post of Governor of Penza Region due to loss of trust of the President of the Russian Federation,” reads the decree “On early termination of powers of the Governor of Penza Region,” which was published on the Kremlin website on Tuesday evening, March 23.

“The decree shall come into force on the date of its signing,” the text said.
