Penza, 25 October 2021. PenzaNews. Penza region governor Oleg Melnichenko introduced Nikolai Simonov as chairman of the regional government at an operational meeting held via videoconference on Monday, October 25.

“Nikolai Petrovich is a man of tremendous managerial experience; a man Penza region knows,” said the head of the region.

He described Nikolai Simonov as an industrialist who, until 2015 “worked in industrial production and knows it inside out”.

“Nikolai Petrovich, I hope that you and I will work long and fruitfully for the benefit of the residents of Penza region,” added Oleg Melnichenko.

“Thank you for your trust, Oleg Vladimirovich,” said Nikolai Simonov in response.
